Let's be honest, taxes are not your top priority and that's okay with me...

Every accounting firm I ever worked for constantly complains how people don’t care enough about taxes. Complaining how they don’t respond within 5 minutes to the 20 page questionnaire (aka Tax Organizer) and fill out every section in detail. Complaining how they don’t make their accountant and their taxes priority #1. Complaining how inconsiderate they are of their accountant, because they don’t understand how valuable an accountants time is.
Here’s the ultimate truth most accountants don’t seem to understand: you have a life too. You’re busy balancing your life. Running a business, caring for a family, and making sure there is enough money in the bank to keep everything afloat…you have a lot on your plate.
For many tax accountants, (myself included) we live and breath taxes. Yet, most accountants seem to forget that most people don’t think about taxes every day, let alone a few times a year. I understand that. Taxes are my thing, they don’t need to be your thing too, and I respect that.
Here’s the reality, you deserve to work with an accountant who actually cares about more than themselves. An accountant who is willing to listen and not just prescribe some generic list of questions attempting to fit your unique identity into a checklist. An accountant who will actually call you back. Ultimately, an accountant who understands what you need. Sure, you’ll have to invest some time to get the best results, but that’s what you’ll get THE BEST RESULTS.
Have an accounting question. Just need to rant about taxes. Let's chat.
Remember: you balance life, I balance taxes.
